Happy Friday!

I once heard about someone who’s favorite flower was a crocus because it’s the first sign of spring. It’s been unseasonably warm here so we’re getting our little hint of spring early. Here’s a shot of the ones we saw at the park this morning–from Dolly’s vantage point. And here are a few other things that caught my eye this week. Enjoy your weekend!

Vogue just released these patterns for frocks (& one set of terrific hats) from the 1950s. If I can sew a bib these days, I’m lucky. But I can dream!

I read up on postpartum depression, but had never heard of weaning-related depression until now. A must-read for breastfeeding mamas. (Thank you, Joanna!)

Thinking about joining a CSA? Now’s the time, literally.

Feeling a bit stuck with healthy cooking? This week, I was reminded of how great Martha Rose Shulman’s recipes can be. I’ve got my eye on this bibimbap…so pretty, too!
